Field trip to Vancouver
|
|
|
Today I went on a field trip to Vancouver (as the title suggests) for my Geography 345 course. We examined the history of archetectural design in the city of Vancouver...it was pretty interesting, but a little chilly outside. Anyways, here are just a few random pics I took while we were walking around the city.

Rainy days

Just took a few pictures on my run today (yes, I went running in the POURING rain  ). I figured I will need a better camera and/or conditions in order to get that super close-up of a raindrop (a picture I'm sure most photo enthusiasts long for, it's harder than you think).

Walking in a Winter Wonderland

Well, today my family and I went up to the Mt. Baker/Mt. Shuksan area in Northwestern Washington. It was a GORGEOUS day outside, had perfect weather. The mountains and scenery were very beautiful with snow all about. Enjoy!

Fall Colours (and other miscellaneous things)

Took my camera with me on my run this morning. Just saw some amazing fall colours out. Also felt like taking a few pics of some musical instruments in my household.

Here are just a few pics from when I flew to Winnipeg, Manitoba last summer (2003) to visit some family. I drove back to BC with my family though, through the prairies. It was amazing how much smoke there was from the BC forrest fires even in Calgary.

Well, I went to a costume party none other than the famous Indiana Jones. I was pretty proud of my costume, put it together that afternoon. Also carved a Homestarrunner and Strongbad pumpkin to put out on the steps, they turned out good too. A fun evening overall.
